Hunter Biden’s Marriage Could Be On The Rocks

It’s no surprise that Hunter Biden’s marriage could be on the rocks given the recent activity swirling around newly leaked text messages.

Hunter’s Secret Wedding

Hunter Biden, age 49 at the time of his wedding, is married to Melissa Cohen, then a 32-year-old filmmaker from South Africa. The wedding ceremony took place on May 16, 2019, after ten days of meeting each other. The low-key wedding took place on the roof of her L.A. apartment, where they exchanged ‘simple golden wedding bands’ in front of a “minister who runs an instant marriage company,” according to TMZ. 

Joe Biden was called after the wedding but wasn’t in attendance.

Hunter’s Previous Relationships

Hunter Biden divorced his ex-wife Kathleen in 2017 after a 23-year marriage and raising three kids together. The marriage to Kathleen was rocky after allegations of Hunter blowing money on prostitutes, strip clubs, drugs, and gifts for women with whom he had sexual relations.

About a month before his shotgun marriage ceremony to Cohen, he was seeing Hallie Biden, the widow of his late brother Beau. In 2017 Joe Biden released a statement showing his and Jill’s full support of the odd relationship.

You might recall Hunter was hit with a child support petition from then 28-year-old Lunden Alexis Roberts, who claims to have given birth to his child in August 2018. Hunter denied Robert’s allegations and asked the judge to dismiss the suit.

Is Hunter’s Marriage On The Rocks?

According to Page Six “Sources close to the President’s wayward son say both Hunter and his South African wife “are frustrated because they are in lockdown,” while she has confided in friends that life with Hunter is “hard.”

Hunter, 52, Melissa, 35, and their toddler Beau have are confined to their $20,000 a month mansion in Malibu. According to sources, Cohen says life with Hunter has been challenging and that living with him behind closed doors is a train wreck, citing she didn’t know what she was getting into.

The couple has been stressed about staying behind doors with watchful Secret Service agents. Looming over their heads is a possible federal investigation that recently reached a ‘critical stage’ as prosecutors decide whether to bring charges against Hunter ahead of the midterm elections.

Charges thus far range from tax violations, and foreign lobbying violations, to false statements regarding Hunter’s purchase of a firearm during his struggle with drug addiction.

The New York Post reported seeing the pair out in Malibu despite allegations of their marriage being on the rocks.
