A Georgia couple vacationing in Florida with their children were arrested after they allegedly passed out on the beach with several alcohol containers near them and their children nowhere in sight.
Alyssia Langley, 27, and her fiancé, Timothy Stephens, 27, were arrested during their Spring Break vacation to Daytona Beach.
Volusia County Sheriff’s Deputies received a tip about the two being drunk and asleep in the sand, according to the arrest report obtained by The National Desk.
It took minutes and several attempts from deputies to wake up Langley and Stephens who were sleeping in the sand.

A deputy’s body-worn footage showed open cans of alcohol and toys, but not their 5 and 7 year old children.
Deputies stated in their report that Langley and Stephens had bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol when they woke up.
One of the deputies asked a “confused” Stephens if he knew of the children’s whereabouts.
Stephens responded a few times that the children were “at the beach.”
Stephens looked toward the ocean and reportedly called out for the children at the water’s edge, according to the report.
Moments later, deputies escorted Stephens to Nautilus Inn, a nearby hotel.
Both kids were at the hotel’s pool swimming, unsupervised.
Langley and Stephens were arrested and charged with child neglect.
Before the two were taken to jail, Stephens ran from deputies, but fell on the hard-packed sand while handcuffed.
He knocked himself unconscious, the video showed.

He was reportedly hospitalized and booked into jail after he was released.
Langley was also booked into the Volusia County Branch Jail.
The couple eventually bonded out.
During the arrest, the children’s grandfather was contacted.
