Joe Biden exploded into rage on Saturday night in South Carolina, dredging up a discredited Trump hoax to clamor about the presidential frontrunner.
Biden Gets Upset On Stage
The president took aim at his political rival while campaigning in South Carolina ahead of next week’s Democratic Presidential primary and called his Republican rival Donald Trump a “loser” during a campaign speech in South Carolina.
Biden devolved into unbridled anger, slurring his words as he repeated the debunked slander about his political opponent.
During his speech, which took place at a Democratic Party dinner in Columbia, Biden criticized Trump, and called him a “loser,” while he also slammed his handling of the economy.
“I look at veterans very differently from Donald Trump,” he said. He said Trump refused to visit a U.S. cemetery outside Paris and called them “suckers and losers,” referring to a 2020 report in The Atlantic that claimed the then president referred to members at the Aisne-Marne cemetery in these terms during a November 2018 trip to France to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.
“How dare he say that?” Biden said. “I call them patriots and heroes. The only loser I see is Donald Trump,” he added, as the audience applauded.
Trump has denied the reports.
Joe Biden holds an enormous polling lead among Democrat candidates and is considered likely to represent his party at this year’s election.
Joe Biden has been known to surprise America with his tall tales while on the campaign trail. Here, his exchange in South Carolina with a patron of a barber shop shouldn’t surprise us as leading to a bit of kidding around.
“If I had you running in front of me when I was playing at Delaware, I could’ve been All-American, man,” he said to a gentleman in a barber’s chair.
