On October 12th, 2023, American politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez posted a video commenting on the United States’ responsibility in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The 45-second clip shared by AOC has been viewed more than 13.6 million times, but not because of what she had to say. It’s because right around the 40-second mark, you can basically hear her fart.
Was this a ploy for us to watch the video a million times, or was it just an oopsie moment? Or… perhaps her dog was sitting next to her (does she have a dog who passes gas?).
A sound resembling flatulence can be heard at the 0:39-second mark of the video. The video (shown below) received over 7.6 million views, 6,300 reposts, and over 26,300 likes on X / Twitter in one day.
This person below said they used an “infrared camera” to find out exactly if she farted or not. If nothing else, it will give you a chuckle.
