AOC Struggles To Explain What ‘Ceasefire’ Means To CNN Anchor

The Republican National Committee on Tuesday criticized Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, D-N.Y., for calling for her answers to a question on why she called for a ceasefire in Israel following the attack by Hamas.

The group said in a post on X that Ocasio-Cortez’s effort to explain the reasoning behind her ceasefire call “does not go well.” The post included a clip of Ocasio-Cortez on CNN.

“Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spends almost three minutes trying to explain her calls for a ‘ceasefire’ after Hamas terrorists brutally massacred innocent Israelis and it does not go well,” the RNC wrote on their RNC Research account.

“Israel does have a right to self defense,” Ocasio-Cortez said, but asked if “collective punishment qualifies as defense.”

Phillips pushed back asking how is Israel supposed “to deal with Hamas?”

Ocasio-Cortez responded by saying that a number of options should be “examined” without offering a specific answer.

Ocasio-Cortez joined with several other Democratic lawmakers in the House in a resolution calling for an immediate de-escalation and ceasefire in Israel, where Israeli forces are targeting the Gaza Strip after being attacked by the militant group Hamas.

    that voted for her?
Trump was so right when he stated “This Country is run by a bunch
