Vice President Of The U.S. Tests Positive For COVID-19

Kamala Harris tests positive for COVID-19, confirmed by her office.

VP Harris is 57 years old, and will isolate from the world at her residence. Her at-home treatment includes the newly released Plaxlovid antiviral pill by Pfizer, which frequently sponsors hosted shows like the Oscars.

Today I tested positive for COVID-19. I have no symptoms, and I will continue to isolate and follow CDC guidelines. I’m grateful to be both vaccinated and boosted.

Close Call

Luckily, Harris was not around or was not in close contact with our buddy President Biden, or his first Lady, Jill. The Veep won’t return to the White House until she tests negative.

“She has not been a close contact to the President or First Lady due to their respective recent travel schedules,” a statement from press secretary Kristen Allen read. “She will follow CDC guidelines and the advice of her physicians. The Vice President will return to the White House when she tests negative.”

It is unfortunate that Harris contracted COVID after two boosters and a vaccine.

From VP Harris

“Today I tested positive for COVID-19. I have no symptoms, and I will continue to isolate and follow CDC guidelines. I’m grateful to be both vaccinated and boosted,” Harris tweeted.

You might remember Harris’s husband tested positive for the virus mere a month ago.

Unfortunately, Harris was supposed to meet with her boss, Biden, in the Oval Office on Tuesday morning but she was not in attendance.

Here is Harris praising the vaccine and boosters, but

Some critics, and Twitter critics alike, are throwing shade at the VP because she’s been vaccinated and bolstered, yet still caught COVID.

We wish Kamala a speedy recovery
