CAIR, a Muslim and Hamas-tied organization associated with terror-affiliated groups, pushed New Jersey to designate January to be Muslim month.
New Jersey’s Muslim and Terrorist-Affiliated Citizens
The organization CAIR, which pushed for the resolution, is affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood and is known to represent the interests of Hamas, a group that has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S.
CAIR-NJ, an Islamic supremacist group, is applauding the New Jersey State Assembly’s vote in favor of the Muslim Heritage Month Resolution [AJR194], which would designate January as “Muslim Heritage Month” in the state.
The resolution proposed by the terror-affiliated group seeks to compel local government agencies and organizations to hold ceremonies, activities, and educational programs to observe “Muslim Heritage Month” and promote appreciation of the American Muslim community.
New Jersey Has Highest Percent of Muslims
New Jersey has the highest percentage of Muslims in the U.S., at 3.5 percent, boasted CAIR, “It is only appropriate that we recognize the beautiful diversity of the Garden State, and we look forward to seeing Governor [Phil] Murphy sign this resolution into action.”
CAIR’s latest move to designate January as “Muslim Heritage Month” is part of its ongoing efforts to promote Islamization in New Jersey, following the appointment of its former Board Chairwoman, Nadia Kahf, to the Superior Court of New Jersey by the state’s left-wing Governor.
The group behind the resolution, CAIR, is very controversial.
CAIR, which claims to be a “Muslim civil rights” group, is actually a Muslim Brotherhood organization that acts on behalf of Hamas, a terrorist group designated by the U.S. Hamas calls for the killing of Jews, and some have accused CAIR of receiving funds from Hamas-linked entities and Al Qaeda-affiliated organizations.
A document retrieved from CAIR headquarters reveals internal discussions at CAIR to support Osama bin Laden.
CAIR’s links to U.S.-designated terrorist organizations, including Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, are detailed in a report by the Center for Security Policy.
“Muslim book of scripture should be the highest authority in America”
The report presents evidence that CAIR has ties to designated terrorist organizations such as Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, including financial links, supportive statements, and former officials in Hamas-affiliated groups.
The report alleges that CAIR conducts subversive activities to advance a radical Islamic agenda in the US.
CAIR’s Founder and Chairman Emeritus Omar Ahmad stated, “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith but to become dominant… The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.”
The Center for Security Policy reports CAIR worked to silence critics of Islam, suppress free speech, and undermine law enforcement efforts to combat terrorism.
CAIR is leading the movement to have states recognize “Muslim Heritage Month,” but their controversial ties to terrorism raise concerns as to why Muslims in New Jersey and other states are not distancing themselves from the organization and its resolution.
