United Airlines has issued a nationwide ground stop due to a computer issue, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Here’s Why
All United Airlines flights have been grounded due to an equipment outage, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
All airports are currently impacted by this, and United flights are delayed across the country.
A total of 693 users have reported the outage on downdetector.com. As of the time of writing, there is no estimated restoration time.
There has not been any official announcement from United Airlines issued on the outage as of yet. The Mirror has reached out to United Airlines for an update.
Passengers took to social media to complain about delays on their journeys. One wrote: “Of course @united is having a nationwide IT issue and we can’t take off”
The ground stop comes after more than 90 million Americans traveled for Labor Day Weekend.
