Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 Vaccine Could Cause Blood Clots: FDA Reports

Johnson & Johnson was recently under scrutiny by the FDA for its vaccine citing potential life-threatening blood clots.

FDA Limits Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine

The FDA announced on May 5th, stating “Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has limited the authorized use of the Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine to individuals 18 years of age and older”, going on to say after conducting an analysis and investigation of the reported cases, they determined the risk of Thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS), which is a rare condition of life-threatening blood clots, low platelets, with the onset of symptoms within a week or two of receiving the vaccine.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine Janssen, until further notice, will be only authorized for limited use because of the awful threats to life. The single-dose vaccine is limited to adults who are unable to access other federally authorized vaccines, or who wouldn’t otherwise get vaccinated unless they receive a J&J shot.

Why Is The Janssen Vaccine Being Restricted?

FDA Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research Director Dr. Peter Marks said “We’ve been closely monitoring the Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine and occurrence of TTS following its administration and have used updated information from our safety surveillance systems to revise the (emergency use authorization).”

Going on to say they will continue to monitor the safety of the Janssen vaccine and other vaccines. There were 15 confirmed cases by the FDA and CDC among the 8 million doses that were administered since March 2021 when the government issued emergency use of J&J’s vaccine. The FDA determined TTS cases are only 3.23 per million doses or about .048 per million doses that resulted in death.

Johnson & Johnson

The Janssen vaccine was the third to be approved via emergency by the FDA during the COVID crisis. Back in April 2021, the Johnson and Johnson vaccine was paused by Fauci citing blood clots. This raises an eyebrow since at that time 6 reported cases were found at that time, and now it’s being paused….again.

Steve Bannon released a video in December 2021 on Rumble stating that more than just one vaccine could cause blood clots.
