Dutch Farmers Forced To Sell Farms To Comply With Government

The Netherland Government is forcing farmers to comply and hand over 3,000 farms to meet the 2030 climate agenda, forcing farmers out of business.

What Is Going On?

Per the European Union’s climate rules, the Dutch government will buy up to 3,000 small farms across the country to shut them down.

The Netherlands is informally known as Holland and is the largest of the fourth constituent countries of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Currently, they have a population of over 17 million people, accounting for about .22% of the world’s population.

The Netherlands emits more nitrous oxide and ammonia than any other E.U. member, consequently becoming a target for climate activists, and is part of the European Green Deal agreement. In 2018, the European Court of Justice ordered the Netherlands to address the emissions, most of which governing bodies have attributed to livestock.

European Green Deal will transform the EU into a modern, resource-efficient and competitive economy, ensuring:

  • no net emissions of greenhouse gases by 2050
  • economic growth decoupled from resource use
  • no person and no place left behind

The law sets a target of removing 310 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent by 2030 through the use of soil, trees, plants, biomass and timber.

Government Takeover of Farmland

The Netherlands, where the Dutch farmers are pushing back, is home to nearly 54,000 agricultural businesses.

A recent viral social media video shows Netherlands police using heavy machinery to tip over tractors with farmers inside, while police with riot shields stand by.

Axing 3,000 of the farms isn’t ‘quite’ deadly, though significant according to sources since it appears it’s only the first step in meeting the Dutch and E.U. climate goals.

The government has passed different plans to reduce nitrogen emissions by 50 percent, including lowering speed limits, delaying new building projects, and ultimately, forcing farm buyouts.

The government has promised to pay “well over” the value of the farms, but if the farmers decline the government’s offer, the purchase will become compulsory.

Stifling the world’s second-largest agricultural economy, the decision will effectively starve many bodies to feed the soul of the global climate agenda.

The Farmers Fight Back

For months the Dutch farmers have been leveraging their tractors and heavy equipment to protest the country’s climate policies that include shutting down thier farms to reduce nitrogen emissions and livestock quotas.

Not only are the farmers standing up for their livelihood but so are other groups who are disputing the reasons for shutting down farm land over carbon and greenhouse gas.

According to ABC News, “some 170 groups including Friends of the Earth, Corporate Accountability and the Center for International Environmental Law argue that plans to use fields, forests or machines for future large-scale removal of carbon from the atmosphere are a “greenwashing fantasy.”

Stop Agenda 2030

The Dutch farmer protest shed light on a petition to stop the questionable climate enforcement called Stop Agenda 2030.

The John Birch Society is based out of Appleton, Wisconsin and their coin phrase is “Less government, more responsibility, and — with God’s help — a better world.”

The Society’s goal is to push for a “full United States withdrawal from the United Nations and all its associated entities.”

The European Union has agreed to a law to expand its forests, marshes, and other “sinks” that absorb carbon dioxide (CO2). This will allow them to raise its target for cutting net emissions of greenhouse gases.

The E.U.’s executive arm will lay out plans to potentially eliminate over 70% of the 300,000 premature deaths annually over the next decade, according to Environment Commissioner Virginijus Sinkevicius.

  1. They want to start a civil war, and no one wins, against the people who feed us. This is pure insanity, along with climate change. Wake up, before half the population on the planet, starves because of idiotic policies like this.

  2. Your math makes no sense! You state at the beginning of your article, “Currently, they have a population of over 17 million people, accounting for about 22% of the world’s population.”. If this is true, then the population of the world is only 77,272,727 people. China has 1,400,000,000 people! Please correct your error and learn your math! I think you really mean 0.22% which means the world population is 7.7 billion, which is much different!!!
