A heartwarming chain of generosity unfolded Friday morning at a Woodbridge, Virginia Chick-fil-A.
Officials with the Prince William County Police Department said as supervisors planned to treat their staff to breakfast biscuits, little did they know, a customer named Dillon had already “paid it forward” at the drive-thru.
“The surprised sergeant asked if he knew ahead of time the total before paying and the associate acknowledged he did,” the agency wrote on their Facebook post. “Thank you, Dillon! You have proven kindness is rewarded with kindness.”
The police department said the generous customer covered the full bill totaling $165.28.
