A 23-year-old Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) employee is accused of shooting and injuring a woman outside the fast-food restaurant during lunchtime.

Police have arrested a man they say shot a woman in the parking lot of a Georgia KFC restaurant.
Investigators said the shooting happened around 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the restaurant location along W. Gwinnett Street in Savannah, Georgia.
Police have charged Sherman Hendrix with aggravated assault after they said he shot the woman in the KFC parking lot.
The victim, who wasn’t identified, was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said. Her condition wasn’t known as of Aug. 11.
Authorities said the shooting “wasn’t random” but didn’t elaborate on how Hendrix and the woman knew each other.
