Melania Trump Says Safety Of Families A Top Concern

Melania Trump is making a pitch for unity and says the “safety” of Americans would be her prime concern if her husband, former President Trump, wins his bid to return to the White House.

“The safety and well-being of American families remains my top priority,” the former first lady told Fox News Digital in a story published Friday.

“Our children are our future leaders, tomorrow’s innovators,” Trump said.

The 53-year-old former model launched “Be Best,” her childhood wellness and anti-bullying initiative, in 2018 while in the White House.

“We must unite in our effort to establish a society where equality is the everyday experience of every American,” she said in the Fox News Digital interview.

“Together, we must nourish and safeguard the seeds of liberty,” she said.

“Because, when successful, America blossoms into a magnificent place where everyone can practice their beliefs, share new ideas, and express individualism — this is when we are our best.”

Trump’s remarks come just ahead of a rare public appearance Saturday, when she’s poised to speak at an event at Mar-a-Lago, the former president’s Florida resort home, for the Log Cabin Republicans, the largest GOP organization representing LGBTQ individuals.

She’s remained virtually absent from the campaign trail alongside the ex-commander-in-chief.

Last month, while casting her ballot with her husband in Florida’s Republican primary, a reporter asked Trump if she would make a return to the campaign trail.

“Stay tuned,” she responded.
