The FBI arrested a man who allegedly recorded dozens of people, including kids, in a public bathroom on the Harmony of the Seas cruise ship.
Here’s The Shocking Story
According to court documents, Jeremy Froias placed a hidden camera in the bathroom in the early days of the cruise while the ship was in international waters.
The camera was discovered on May 1, when a passenger noticed it and reported it to the crew.
Security personnel found a Micro SD card containing several hours of video footage, including Froias adjusting the camera’s angle to focus near the toilet.
Over 150 people, including at least 40 minors, were recorded, some of whom were seen partially naked, including children as young as 4 years old.
After reviewing the footage, security personnel confronted Froias, during which time he allegedly admitted to placing the camera in the bathroom.
Froias has since been charged with video voyeurism and attempted possession of child exploitation material.
The FBI’s San Juan division is now seeking information from anyone who may have used the bathroom in question from April 30 to May 1.
The agency is asking people to fill out a form with information that could be used in the investigation or lead to the identification of victims.
