Hypoallergenic Dogs For Allergy Sufferers

If you are allergic to dogs and want to adopt a furry friend, don’t fret! There are hypoallergenic dogs for allergy sufferers.

Allergic To Dogs

Being allergic to anything comes with its own set of woes. But if you’re a dog lover and find yourself sneezing, or with watery eyes when you are around, or petting dogs, it can turn a frown upside down.

The good news is that even if you’re allergic to dogs, you should be okay around hypoallergenic dogs.

Dog allergies are typically a reaction to traces of their saliva, urine, and dander (flakes of dead skin), where immune systems treat these proteins as though they contain danger and react accordingly.

Most people with a dog allergy might also have reactions to people who have dogs since the dander, urine, and saliva can build up on the dog’s fur and can get transferred to their humans.
