As reported by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Honda has initiated a recall of nearly 250,000 vehicles following a potentially life-threatening engine-related issue.
According to officials from the Traffic Safety Administration, a manufacturing error has led to a defect in the connecting rod bearing within the engine, which may “wear and seize.”
This defect poses a significant risk, as affected engines could stall or operate improperly while the vehicle is in motion, thereby increasing the likelihood of a fire, injury, or collision.
To determine if your vehicle is subject to any recalls, owners can search the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) database for the latest recalls.
