President Biden’s dog Commander has found himself in the doghouse after a series of biting incidents at the White House.

Dog Bites Secret Service Agents More Than Once

The German shepherd bit several Secret Service agents ten times during the four months between October 2022 and January 2023, records show.

In the most serious documented incident, the White House physician’s office on Nov. 3, 2022, referred a bitten Secret Service uniformed officer to a local hospital for treatment after Commander clamped down on their arm and thigh.

Biden’s most recent pup was introduced as a smaller and friendlier version of his dog Major, who was banished from the White House two years ago after numerous biting episodes.

Now the “first pooch,” Commander, is in the doghouse himself after chomping down on several people, including a Secret Service agent who needed hospital treatment for their wounds.

“These shocking records raise fundamental questions about President Biden and the Secret Service,” said Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton.

Biden, 80, has reportedly expressed doubt about the honesty of a Secret Service member who reported being bitten on the leg by his prior dog Major, also a German shepherd, and the White House did not voluntarily disclose biting attacks involving either animal.

The White House blamed the incidents on what they called “a unique and often stressful environment for family pets” at the executive mansion.

The White House said the Bidens will provide more training and improved control techniques for Commander.

Biden’s older dog Major was briefly moved out of the White House following several similar incidents after the president assumed office in early 2021. His eldest dog, Champ, died at age 13 in June 2021.
