Security footage captured the moment when a suspect pretending to have a gun tried to hold up a nail salon, but no one inside cared.

A Robber’s Big Fail

Atlanta Police Department’s (APD) Robbery Unit investigators said the botched heist occurred at the Nail 1st salon on Piedmont Road Northeast on July 3, according to a Facebook post by Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta.

Security footage showed patrons and workers seated inside the nail salon when the suspect barged in with his right hand stuffed inside a black bag.

“Everybody get down!” he yelled. “Give me all your money! Empty out your pockets!”

But the would-be victims simply remained seated and appeared entirely unalarmed.

The suspect made his way over to a worker sitting behind a desk who appeared to be talking on his phone, but the worker only got up and walked off.

A woman sitting near the door got up and started backing out with her cell phone.

“Give me the money!” the suspect demanded. “Everybody give me everything!”

He snatched the woman’s phone from her hand just before she slipped out the door.

Everyone else sat around the shop, apparently unconcerned by the lackluster criminal. The exasperated suspect finally gave up and walked out of the building.

The APD said the unidentified robber fled the scene in a silver sedan and remains on the loose.

Police said the stolen cell phone was later recovered, KABC reported.

Investigators urged anyone with information about the incident or the suspect to contact the APD immediately.
