In a startling development, the accused shooter in the horrific shooting at a gay club in Colorado has declared that “they” identify as “nonbinary.”
Shooter Anderson Aldrich
The shooting at Club Q in Colorado Springs left five dead and more than a dozen wounded.
Anderson Lee Aldrich, 22, sported a beard and appeared cuffed and slouched in a chair almost falling asleep during the court video hearing on Wednesday.
“Could the defendant please state his name?” Judge Charlotte Ankeny asked.
“Anderson Aldrich,” they replied weakly.
Aldrich, who appeared bloodied and bruised, sat nearly motionless during the five-minute hearing and only spoke when prompted by two public defenders at their side in El Paso County Jail.
Anderson Lee Aldrich is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, and he is addressed by Mx. according to a Tuesday night court filing by his attorney.
This was a new revolution that struck the media after many were calling it a hate crime, assuming that the white male shooter was Christian or believed in traditional values.
The mass shooting at Club Q killed five and injured 17 people. Aldrich has been charged with five counts of first-degree murder and ‘bias-motivated crime.’
Still a Hate Crime?
“Anderson Aldrich is nonbinary. They use they/them pronouns, and for the purposes of all formal filings, will be addressed as Mx. Aldrich,” a footnote in a court filing states.
The revelation calls into question speculation that this was a “hate crime” triggered by homophobic rhetoric from the Right as per the typical Left-Wing narrative.
“A very sad tragedy. Hopefully, now that some facts have come out, politicians can stop with their knee-jerk reactions and disgustingly exploitative attacks on other politicians,” former U.S. Rep. Scott Taylor of Virginia, a Republican, tweeted in response to a New York Times reporter’s post about the news of the suspect’s nonbinary identity.
CNN was speechless regarding the update that the shooter is binary—almost as if they didn’t want to believe it.
Club Q features drag shows, including all ages family brunch drag shows, that has prompted liberal media figures to blame the attack on conservative reporters who have exposed the sexualization of children at drag shows and the targeting of minors for trans surgery and medication.
Aldrich’s Run-Ins With the Law
Last year Aldrich was arrested but not prosecuted for making a bomb threat against his mother.
Media reports from earlier Tuesday report Aldrich changed his name as a teenager because of bullying and because he wanted to distance himself away from his criminal-life father.

The hate crime title is bullshit and should be totally eliminated
