A search is underway for a 17-year-old Oregon girl who went missing in the middle of a cold snap without her coat, cell phone, money, or medication.
The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, near Portland, are looking for help to find Breauna Vaughn.
Breauna was last seen on Thursday, January 18, in the Estacada/Eagle Creek area.
The teenager was wearing a black hat, white hooded sweatshirt, black vest, and dark jeans.
The teen is described as 5’6″, 115 lbs., with brown eyes and blonde hair. She may have been wearing a black hat, white hooded sweatshirt, black vest, and dark jeans.
Local residents in the Elm Road and Lakeshore Drive area are being asked to check any home surveillance footage from last Thursday afternoon between 3:15 and 4:30pm.
It’s thought Breauna might have been seen getting out of one vehicle, a red 4×4 and hopping into a second one.
Locals shared their concern on Facebook: ‘I used to go to school with her, good person. Hope she’s found,’ wrote Josh Bass.
Breauna’s brother Tyler posted photos of his sister as he pleaded for her safe return
‘Someone has to know something and they need to do the right thing! This is too long for a young woman to be away from her family,’ said Ashley Dean.
‘I’m sorry to hear about this man hope she is found’, added Ryan Belmonte.
If anyone sees Breauna or knows any information about her whereabouts they are asked to contact the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line at 503-655-8211 or 911.
