Angry Golfer Rips Off Shirt ‘Let’s Fight’

The teed-off golfer who ripped off his shirt and challenged other players to a fight over an errant ball reportedly had several run-ins with the law – including for allegedly threatening a neighbor while only wearing his underwear.

The so-called “Karen on the golf course” went viral after footage posted to TikTok captured him going “full Hulk” at the Crooked Creek Golf Course in Ottawa Lake, Michigan.

He has now been identified by the Daily Mail as John Warren Reeb, a 41-year-old from Archbald, Ohio, with an extensive rap sheet — including recent run-ins this summer.

On July 15, the 5-foot-9 man allegedly yelled at Keith Perry, 48, as the Archbold man got into his truck to drive to work, the news outlet reported, citing the Archbold Buckeye.

Reeb allegedly spat at the truck and also tried to spit on Perry through the window.

He was charged with disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor, in the incident.

On July 26, Reeb allegedly threatened another neighbor, Christian William Griteman, 26, while wearing only his underpants, according to the Archbold Buckeye. He was again charged with disorderly conduct.

About 1:15 a.m. three days later, police responded to reports of a shirtless Reeb apparently chasing a vehicle driven by a woman.

Police tracked him down at his home, where he refused to answer the door before being slapped with charges of obstructing official business and menacing, according to the outlet.

Reeb also was arrested twice last month, once in connection with a misdemeanor warrant and then for allegedly “causing problems with others,” the Daily Mail reported.

Last year, he was arrested for allegedly planning a riot, according to the outlet.

In June 2020, he suffered serious injuries when his Buick minivan flipped over and he was ejected after he failed to heed a stop sign and crashed into a Ford pickup truck, the outlet said, citing The Village Reporter.

In November 2017, Reeb was reportedly convicted of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. He was ordered to perform 150 hours of community service and pay a $560 fine.

Two years earlier, he also was hit with drug-possession charges.

Reeb achieved his greatest notoriety in his epic meltdown on the links, where he tore off his shirt and challenged what appeared to be two carts full of other people to a fight.

“This is a man that’s been to heaven,” he shouted while flexing, “so if you wanna test God then come and get it s–tstack!”

One TikTok user purported to be in the stunned group of golfers described the wild incident.

“Ok I was in one of the golf carts,” user @yerrrrr wrote. “One of the girls hit her ball kind of close to him and we drove over so she could hit it again. He then grabbed the ball and said “oh no you ain’t! This is my ball now b*tch!”. But that was a special ball to her so she wanted it back.”
