The Martha’s Vineyard estate that Barack Obama rented as president has hit the market for $17.6 million.
Obama, 62, leased the property in 2013 during his second term.
It last sold back in 2018 for $15 million.
Boasting panoramic Atlantic Ocean views and vistas of Chilmark Pond, the home was designed by Seattle-based architect Rick Sundberg and constructed by master builder Andrew Flake.
Known as the Chilmark House, the property has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms and occupies over 7,100 square feet.
“Walking up to the front door you will see an enormous boulder that sits just inches away from the home. The massive stone was deposited on the property from a receding glacier long ago,” the listing notes.
Situated on nearly 10 acres, features include walls of glass and a modern kitchen with a fireplace, a family room, and a deck with a screened porch.
The primary suite has access to a private study with a fireplace, two dual baths with a deck, and heated floors throughout.
Three guest bedrooms make up the second wing of the house, which includes two bathrooms and a dressing room.
Outdoor amenities include a heated infinity pool, fruit trees, and a half basketball court.
Separately, there’s a two-bedroom cottage and a detached three-bay garage.
“For a truly seamless transaction, all furniture, artwork, and gym equipment is available for purchase,” the listing adds.
Jen O’Hanlon with Compass holds the listing.
Meanwhile, Obama and his wife, former first lady Michelle, purchased a 29-acre estate on the Edgartown Great Pond in December 2019 after previously renting it.
